n the heart of Gascony, in one of the Armagnac producing regions, the Domaine de Mirail in Lectoure has rediscovered its calling : producing and aging fine wines and eaux de vie.

In a very old vineyard area (Guilhem de Mirailhs was cultivating vineyards there as early as 1491) the traditional varietals of the region (Colombard, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Gros Manseng and Folle Blanche) rediscover their personality.
 

Judiciously distributed between a stony limestone plateau and a steep southern facing clay-limestone hillside, the vines bring to maturity small bunches of grapes with great concentration.
 

Modern vinification methods permit the full expression of the varietal aromas and guarantee the quality of the wines and eaux de vies produced at Domaine de Mirail by Charles Hochman father and son.
